New Best and a Question
New Best and a Question Weather was great here in memphis and the da was 1050 a little earlier in the day. I made 6 passes with 4 of them being about the same

My last 2 runs were different. The second to last I lined up behind a drag car and I got in his rubber. The car hooked great and this is the first pass the car has felt fast. We didn't change any tuning or nitrous jets but picked up 4mph. The temp might have dropped slightly but this run was 12 min after the previous run.

The last run I hot lapped it again and the bottle pressure was up from the normal 1050-1075 to 1125.

So the second to last run I picked up 4 mph in the 1/4 but next to nothing in the 1/8. The last run I picked up 2-3 mph in the 1/8 but lost it all up top. All I can think is the computer is pulling timing on most passes but didn't on the 2nd to last run and pulled timing on the big end of the last pass. I have yet to retune the car and its running 28 degrees timing, 11:3 compression, pump gas, and 150 shot. Does anyone have another guess at why I can normally bracket race the car then all of a sudden pick up 4mph without changing anything. My shift points were always within 200rpms on each pass.
