Default Ordering Bogarts need tire selection help

I'm ordering 15x10s & 15x4s this week, I want to run the MT ET Street Radial on the rear - 275/60R15. At 28" tall will there be any fender clearance issues? Also what size & type fronts should I get?

That tire is meant for an 8 inch rim if I'm not mistaken. The 325 50's are meant for those rims. I'm sure other members have used them on the 10 inch rim but they are supposed to work better with the 8.
Since you haven't ordered yet I thought I'd just put in my .02.

Mark, I saw your post on eastern f-body about going to Mason Dixon last weekend. I just bought Bogart Bolted RTs in the sizes you mentioned. I decided to get the MT ET Street Radial in 275/50/15 for the rear, I don't think the 28 inch tire will fit under the car. The front tires I got are the MT Sportsman Front 26/7.5/15. Hopefully I will get my car back from Mikey at Rapid Motorsports this week and then I need to do a few things to my suspension. So hopefully sometime in May I will make it to Mason Dixon.

Thanks for the input, I'll keep that in mind before ordering tires or wheels.

Thanks for the reply. Are the MT Sportsman Fronts radial? If not what about the issues with mixing radial & non-radial tires?

Just to clarify, the MT front i.e. 1573 etc are not radial, they are bias ply. There are not too many choices you can pick from.

In addition, that 275/60 is not recommended for that rim, as mentioned, it is meant for a smaller rim.

E-mail me or call if you need additional setup help with our Bogart line.

Technically Steve is right the MT 1573 is not a radial but it is tubeless.

Mark, definitely give Steve a call. In my opinion you couldn't deal with anyone better on Bogart wheels.

Steve is there any chance that Bogart will make rims suitable for street use. I drive my car to the track to run (about 100 miles), and am trying to figure out what wheels to buy.

We do have a street/strip rim which is an alternative though skinnies do not work well with this combonation due to the BS required.

We've never built these rims for an F-body yet, but could do so. I've worked on a prototype awhile ago so I am very familar with them.

Though I can't recommend using the rims on the street due to liabilities since among other things, they are not DOT approved, many folks use them everyday WITHOUT issues on the street (against our recommendation of course).

Maybe one of them can chime in to let you know their views. It seems many use them 100% of the time. The problem is they look so nice on the car, changing back to the stock rims doesn't look appealing anymore:-)

The P1 series rims are actually VERY strong. I tell folks that if one feels comfortable using any other manufactures drag setup on the street, they should not feel any diffferent about our P1 series.

I drove all over with Bogart D10 P1 series never had 1 single problem with them and that was with normal driving all over the places. I'd definetely go with SJM for a set of Bogarts. I've got a pretty cool set now that I'll take a spin down the road with and snap some pics of on the car for someone next week.

I've seen a pic of your wheel, Steve's gonna do a Floyd Welded R/T for me. Should be sweet. I'll get some pics when they're on the car.
