Default Launching MT radials

I just got my new set of 17" MT radials mounted yesterday. I want to try them out tonight. What is the ideal tire pressure? What is the best burnout technique?? Just a dusting, or a full burn?

Lastly - any tips on launching would be good. My track isn't very good and is quite slick. Car is an M6, supercharged.... more power than I know what to do with.

Hopefully the 10 bolt lasts.

I'd heat them up nicely. Unless you slip the clutch you can pretty much kiss the 10 bolt bye-bye though.

You'd have to see the skating rink I race on before you pass judgement. You need pure slicks to get anything sub 2.0. It is deplorable.

Suffice it to say they only prepped 60 feet and after that was a skating rink. I smoked them all the way through 2nd gear.

I have 16" MT radial. 16psi usually does the trick

start saving for a rear. If you do a short spin in the water to get the tires wet then pull forward out of the water and then do a big smokey burn out with about 14 psi in the tires....you should hook..you might bogg from hooking so hard.

well, i have an a4 with a 4000 stall, on a 15in rim, so, pretty much the opposite you have, but they are MT Drag Radials regardless. about 15 psi was the best for me. and give them a pretty good burnout, they like that
