double check my torque specs please
double check my torque specs please well i have to put my new 4.56's in tomorrow and i wanted to check the specs that i have in my head, 25 inch/lbs on new bearing with solid pinion spacer, about 5-8 on lash. and i guess you want the pattern to be bout centered on the ring gear as far as spacing the pinion bearing goes eh?
also, any way to get the bearing off without a press, i heated the last one to drop in on in a emergency and didnt care about shiming it for a few passes but if i dont get it right on the first shot how do i get it back off? any ideas fellas
