weighed car at dump Since I live about 15 miles from a dump I weighed my car today. 3128 pounds without me in it and a full tank of gas. The guy said the scale was accurate to within 20 pounds. I have removed

!smog equipment
!spare tire/jack
!windshield washer fluid reservior
!backseat
!monsoon deck,speakers, amp
and a bunch of other small stuff. Car is a 2002 Z28 M6 (no T-top)

Better than the scale at Etown. A couple weeks ago I weighed in at 3500lbs even, with me in it. The following week I took out the HVAC, wiper assembly, PS pump, ABS, airbags etc. Went back to Etown and the scale said 3530. Same amount of gas. Go figure.
