HVAC removal complete....question on harness!
HVAC removal complete....question on harness! Ok, so I got everything complete and reinstalled. The car runs! Thank God. Now, I have the Body Control Module just hanging down with nowhere to mount. What did you guys do for that? What did you do with all the HVAC control harness/lights that used to go under the radio?

Just finished with the installation of a wolfe 10 point cage and the removal of the entire a/c , radio and all the duct work. I taped the harness to the cross bar for the cage and used tie wraps to secure the control module to a brace by the glove box. I was going to start cutting wires that I may not need but was afraid that something that I thought was not needed would come back and haunt me later.

i just chopped all the wires i didn't need. saved a good 30 lbs in wires, relays, fuses, boxes, computers and wire loom. the only part i F'ed up on was i cut the little blue wire going to the parking brake. so now as soon as i go to start my car the headlights turn on if i'm parked somewhere semi dark.

Just finished wire chasing yesterday. Best way is to cut all the tape and looms off everything, then cut one wire at a time off the harness you don't need and chase it to its endpoint. Tedious, but you won't end up cutting something you need.
