700hp on the street- slicks?
The problem is, I don't know what height, what width and what tire I should run. Whats the difference between slicks and ET streets etc.?
The car will not be driven in rain and I have a daily driver to keep the miles down to 150-200 a week. What tire will hook and last on the street?
Also, will 17's up front look stupid with 16's in the back? Should I ditch the front set too and go with a skinnier tire? Any help is appreciated. Mike.
i would go with the m/t street radials.

Holy **** lol!!!
back to the subject, get the biggest widest tires you can get, dont get fikse 16's, get bogart 15's or the like. at 500 rwhp nittos are almost like street tires, I bet a 15 inch rim with a good ET Street Radial would work well for pure street driving, any track time though I would say get some slicks or at least ET Streets. I have been pondering what tires to get myself lately and what it came down to me was
Radial = more stable, possible higher trap, but waaaayyyyy heavy
Slicks = not street legal, max traction lowest treadwear, waayyyyyy light.
Slick type (ET Street non radial) = street legal, good traction with hefty burnout but only on the track, waaaayyyy lighter than a radial.
I ruled out the Radial simply for the weight issues so it came down to slick and slick type, I figured that I wanted to drive around on the street mostly and track a little so I went with a 28 inch Slick type on a 15 inch rim but also have real 28 inch slicks on my 16 inch stock rims.
Freakin tires is such a hard choice.
