Default How is my time?

I'm driving an M6 2001 WS6 that is mostly stock. The mods I do have are an SLP Loudmouth, MTI lid with K&N, MTI throttle body, and SLP smooth bellows. I ran the car last night using my G-tech pro meter (which I'm not sure how accurate it is). I went 0-60 in 5.1 and a 13.4 quarter mile at 110mph. I'm running on Nitto 555 street tires. Just by looking at my times would you say that the mph vs the et are about right or does my launch suck? I'm really getting frustrated because I usually either bog or spin from the hole, maybe some drag radials would get me down to a 0-60 of about 4.8....let me know what you think.

i have a 01 ws6 and when i had pretty much the same stuff as you had done but i have bfg drag radials my best was a 13.06. i can remeber my 60. so your pretty close to me, the launch is hard, i still could do a lot better i think.

That's good to know that I'm at least close to where I need to be, I was starting to question my driving skills. I've been running on an old abondoned concrete road with cracks all on the surface, and measuring my time with the G-tech. I'm sure I might pull better times on a good race-preped 1/4 mile track with an accurate timer. I know that I'm losing major tenths with that slow 5.1 0-60 time. I think my next mod will be a good set of Nitto drag radials then I'm hoping for a 0-60 of 4.8 and a 1/4 mile of 13.1 or so.

I'd consider taking it to a track (if one is near you) and try running for a real figure. I've heard G-techs can vary a little but the mph is usually high on all the posts and reviews I've read. I'd say if you can duplicate a good launch the mph even at 108 could net you a high 12 second pass with traction.

I totally agree. I have even had a pass where it read 13.47@112mph. That seemed really high to me. All we have is an 1/8 mile in my town, I may have to travel a little bit to get to a 1/4 mile track. My main problem is my launch, I have tried several different methods but still get about the same result. I just need to get some more forgiving tires.
