Default Front tire size?

hey guys. I should be recieving my Bogarts in the next day or two and was wondering what size tires you are running up front. The rim size is a 3.5 by 15. What my main question is how tall of a tire should i run. The back will be a 28 x 10 x 15. I want the car to have a slight nose down stance but not too much. So what would you recommend?

Do you have any pictures you could post or email to me that i could use as a reference. TIA WOT

I run a 26" tall tire in the front. That's the standard height for the front wheel wells. I have both the Moroso 26x4.5-15 DS-2s and also the 165R-15 VW radial tires both on the same size wheel you are running. I doubt you could put a much taller tire on the front without it rubbing. The 26" tires fit well and the car is a bit lower in the front with 28" rear tires.

I'll try to post some pics for ya when I get home.

I run the same size except in the Mickey Thompson ET Front and the 165R-15 VW for the street.

We also use a 26" MT Front Runner.

Different front tire sizes in drag racing (or bracket racing) are used to change the rollout affect. Larger tires give you more of a head start (if you will), smaller tires cut down your head start. All this affect when you should react to the christmas tree for those perfect lights.

George is absolutely right about the roll out. Our 26s put us right on top of the .500s and sometimes in the .490s

That is something to consider before spending the $$$.

Good luck!

Question for you skinnies people. Those running the 165 tires at the track, is there problems rolling through the waterbox and carrying water to the line? I'm about to purchase skinnies and tires and would like to save money by getting 165s instead of a true front runner, but I dont want to be carrying water all over the place at the track either.

Thanks for any help.
