Just put a set of rear Afco DAs on the car, my jump on T-Top well shock dynometer comes up with 7 on the **** and 1/4 turn CCW from the stop on the top adjustment to feel close to stock shocks which were good enough for a 1.39x 60' on my car, I'd like to stay in the 'stock' range to start with.
How does that compare to what any of you have tried? I know all cars are different but I dont want to be too far in left field for the first few passes

This is the setup I use with my car. 3100 lbs, 28" 10.5 Tire.
Top of the shock at 20 clicks from full loose. Bottom of shock 12 clicks from full tight.
If the car squats or wheel hops, I go 2 clicks tighter on the bottom of the shock.
If the car spins I go two clicks looser on the top of the shock.
If the car has a tendancy to wheely, you'll need to tighten up the top setting on the front shock.
Edit I just saw you're using a 6 speed. These settings may not be right since I'm using an auto with a very tight nitrous converter.
