Default Took the car track friday

Went to a local 1/8mi track Friday for a Street Car Shootout.
It was hot and it was humid. I could only manage a best of 8.35et/84.08mph and my best 60ft time was 1.85. This is on a 99 Convertible SS, with Lid/LongTubes/Catback/Stall/Nittos. No weight reduction other than spare tire removal. Is this decent? I was expecting better times. It was my first time to the track and it was pretty fun except they were switching the lights from protree to normal. It had me all jacked up. Therefore some of my reaction times were pretty crappy.

Yes, that's pretty good considering the weather conditions. Very good 60ft. time.

I agree, good times for summer air. Keep in mind as long as your head is in the game of making the time run, it doesn't matter between the pro tree or full tree. Until your tire breaks the beams, your e.t. won't start.
