Default Difference between 4 and 5 point harness?

Other than the obvious missing strap between the legs, are there any differences regarding Tech that I need to know? I'm looking at Recaro Sport seats and they don't have the 5th slot for a 5 point harness, just wondering if I need to be looking at something else that has it. Thanks.

Pretty sure (99%) the 4 point is not NHRA legal for any class where a roll bar / harness is required.

The crotch strap is required, but it is not required to go through the seat in an opening. It is legal to have it loop over the front edge of the seat. I have mine done this way in the Nova since I have stock bucket seats and really don't want to cut an opening for a strap, then have it vinyl'd and cleaned up.

That's what I was wondering...

Anyone have any pics of a 5 point setup with a normal seat or one that doesn't have the 5th slot?
