weight reduction starting to look like a sucess i was working on my car saturday finishing welding up my new radiator support walked to the side of the car and noticed how far the front end was elevated. Seems my front end is jacked up quite a bit, there is about 5" of space between the top of the front tire to the fender. Not sure how much weight i took off but i think i got some good weight off this winter (though i still have to install the front bumper, radiator and Intercooler, but i dont think those weigh more then 170lbs as i sat on the frontand it didnt seem to move down much further.
wondering if im going to have to get differnt springs in the front so its not lifted as much.
main weight reduction in the front end was removal of front bumper support and foam, bmr kmember and radiator support but seems like there is more weight removed.
eager to get to the scales again (got to get it back running first though) but last time i weighed it, it was at 3500lbs with about a 1/3 tank of gas and me out of it.
id like to get it at 3600lbs or less with me in it and a cage.
