got my car to the track last week and ran a best of 12.2 at 106 with a 1.71 60'. the car a is full bolt on with a 9" 4.11s and a th350 with a 4500rpm stall. the car is being set up for a big cam going in the next month and i just wanted to run it with this set up but i thought i would get more of a mph out of it. I ran a 112mph with the 6 speed before i went to the th350.

your auto trans, and big converter are eating your mph... don't worry about it... that's probably decent for a car w/ that much converter and a 9" with just bolt ons. what's your raceweight?

 

that 60' kinda sucks for the 4500 stall and 4.11 gears........ did you have traction?

 

the car weighed in at about 3600 with me in it and i was leaving off the line kinda easy trying to get usto the new trans. next week i am going to try leaving off the trans break and see how it does

 

cool... i'd suspect w/ that much gear/converter you should be in the 11's. beat the hell out of it and let me know how ya do!

3600 raceweight isn't too bad. my raceweight is 3,730 (yikes). that bitch needs to go on a diet!
