battery relo wiring question

do i need to run a wire from the battery to the alternator or can i just run a posative wire from the stock wiring to the battery?

Are you gonna have a kill switch in with this? If not, just run a 2 gauge wire from the battery up to the stock wiring and put a loop end on it and bolt it to the stock wiring and then run a ground wire from the battery to the frame and ur all good. If you are installing a kill switch, get a 4-pole kill switch and run a 2ga wire from the switch up to the stock wiring connecting the same way and then a 2 ga wire from the switch to the battery, again, ground the battery, then run a 6 gauge wire from the alternator to the switch and then you got a wire that goes from the other small stud to the big stud that had the wire goin to the battery on it. The switch should come with instructions and an illustration if ur getting a switch that'll bettery visualize it for you. And make sure you cover the stock wiring where you bolted the wire going to the back in electrical tape.
