G-tech question
G-tech question.... I've got the G-tech pro... I've been playing with it lately. I'm just curious how accurate it is. I'm not using it for times, I just practice with it...trying to get consistent with my shifts...etc. I have a long straight & flat strech near my house... and I live 2 hours from the track 
My experience has been that if mounted and setup correctly they can be quite close (within a tenth or 2) the best thing to use it for is to see if whatever mod you did has an effect, for people who don't have a strip located close to them it can be a valuable tool to check if the latest mod has in fact helped or hurt.
In my Camaro it was within a tenth of the actual 1/4 mile time, tho the mph was off by 5

i use mine a lot. the 60' has never been more than .01 off. the 1/4 mile ET is consistantly .25 fast. it is very consistant so i can adjust to my actual ET. i know my ET before i get the slip.
