Some months ago the AC belt on my car ripped off for some reason. So anyway i was thinking of getting it out for once...

but it has been raining some and the windshield fogs too much..

Yeah, that's a good ******* question! Happened too me on the way home from the track once! I got there, was about to swap the slicks on and it started to drizzle, so I didn't. About 10 minutes later they cancelled the night (the entire drive up was beautiful, so I was pissed) and I got on my way home. I got about 5 minutes down the road and whoosh, it was like a ******* monsoon, raining so god damn hard I could barely see with the wipers on full blast and then too top it off, b/c of the hard rain I had to shut the windows and i'm sweatin my *** off and the then the windows start to fog, so at that point I couldn't see anything, was goin like 2 mph just praying not to hit anything wipin the windshield with napkins tryin just to find the little uturn arounds in the middle of the road to pull over into to stop. Finally I just barely saw one and pulled in, shut the car, turned the flashers on and sat there for over a ******* hour till the rain stopped enough for me too open the window and defog the car! It sucked so bad and buddies said they saw me sittin there and felt really bad! That'll never happen again though, bought me a trailor now, still gonna drive her around town like I usually do, but not too the track, that **** was scary as ****!

First time out this year I got caught in the worst friggan rain storm I've ever been in. I had to run the defroster on high non stop to keep the windsheild clear. It was like a 120+* in the car and it took me about 3 hours to go 60 miles. ******* sucked.

I think the only real option would be to try some of that Rain X anti fog stuff. It works well in my pick up on those cool dewy mornings.

You can use one of those little electric heaters that plugs into your cig lighter.

I removed all the HVAC in my old trans am and I was driving it to move it to another house. Perfect day until about 5 minutes from my destination.. then it started pouring out of no where. Windows started fogging up and then when I went to turn on my wipers I found out that the driver side one wasn't tightened enough so it wouldn't move the wiper. Drove the last 2 miles getting drenched with my head out of the window. Some idiot in a SUV even passed me over the double yellow because I was going 10-15mph under the speed limit.

I left all my Heater stuff installed and just removed the a/c portion. It's too damned cold in the Pacific NW to be driving w/o heat. But most of the time the windows fog up it's because of the cold, not humidity.

So if that's the case, i'd just suggest you leave it in. That is if it's your only mode of transportation.

My problem is that, when it rains, IT RAINS like the sky is falling and gets damn cold, so car fogs because inside is warm.. Bum i hit defroster.. THE CAR GETS HOTTER! so you can't really keep the fog out until you open a window and get wet, and still takes time.. Next time i will open the hatch a bit...

I think i'm going to wait till i get a cam...
