Default Should I go with a larger stall?

I posted this in the auto trans. section but i never get any responses. So, I am hoping for some responses in here,
I am currently running a TCI ssf 3500 stall, also have a 150 shot and a 230x224 cam and etc. Was thinking about getting the converter restalled to 4000, what do you think

I can only tell you about my specific case but at least it's a response. I had a Yank PY3400 in my car when I purchased it. When the tranny needed replacing I contacted Dave @ Yank about possibly changing converters. He asked me if I planned on using N20 and I told him "No". He recommended and then I acquired a PT4000. He said I would ultimately see a .3 to .5 improvement in ET over the PY3400 if traction wasn't an issue and that has been the case. I asked him what would happen if I used N20 with the 4000 converter and he said that it would get really loose in a big hurry. Not that it wouldn't take it but that the shift extensions would most likely get up over 6000 RPM. That's just too high for my stock motor but maybe your case is different.

Really you should call a company like Yank or TCI or Coan and talk to their Tech section tell them what your working with and they could give you the most help on a stall speed...
