times to expect
times to expect alright, i am going to run my car at Byron, Illinois at the end of the month. It will obviously be at the end of October so the air should be pretty good. I was just wondering what times i should expect to see, or what times you guys have seen with similar mods..... mods are listed below.... thanks
ehhe if this is your first time driving it could be as high as 14.5 , if you dont bomb 13.7 maybe, itll get better as you get better, the first time i ran i made a 13.5 car do 15 secs , then made her do 13.8 , but now the car and myslef have gotten alot faster! point being , like i tell everyone, dont flip out the first time you race and you run slower than the 3rd gens and imports at the track
The car itself should be good for 13.50s at like 102-104 based on your dyno numbers if you don't spin a whole lot out of the hole. May need to do some routine maintenance on it like plugs and wires and maybe clean your MAF and you could see better unless you have done that already.
If you have drag radials, I would shoot for low to mid 13s. I run at Byron too, I might even be there when you go, I want to go once more this year and the end of this month should be good temps.

1st time at Firebird with the 02 I ran a 15+ @ 101 (massive wheel spin with the stock tires). By the end of the night I was running 13.8-13.9 all night. After minimal mods (see sig) I had sub 13.5's @ 105+ every time. With DR's it'll probably go at least .1-.2 faster (better 60' times). Don't worry, the main thing is to have fun!
