Poly vs Solid LCA's and pinion angle...

Default Poly vs Solid LCA's and pinion angle...

ok, so I switched from Poly end boxed LCA's to Solid moly tubular LCA's. now my 60's are sucking horrible. was cutting mid 1.4X's consistantly with a 1.42 low, and now I'm mid 1.5X consistantly with a 1.50 low...

I've heard that you need to readjust pinion angle if you swap over. anyone had experience with this or the same problems I have? yes, I know I need to do some experimentation, but I can't go to the track for 3 weeks and would like to have an educated starting point.

I do have an M6 and am running 28X10.5 MT-S slicks.



btw, I saved 30lbs swapping over!

What is your pinion angle at now? Is it the same before you made the swap? Does it seem like it's unloading the tires or just not getting out as quick?

pinion is -2 now. yes it is the same. it seems like is unloading to me.

remember to measure pinion angle with you in the car as well. just my .02
