Cooling down the car?

Any tips on cooling down the car between runs? Thanks

Don't let it cool down too much, it needs to be at operating temperature to run it's best.

manual fan switch and/or electric water pump with a switch to turn it on while the motor isn't running. Just don't get it too cool.

In the cooler months, you really should only need to open the hood between rounds and be good to go in 15 minutes or less. Hot lapping, in hot weather, is never a good thing especially with a high stall vert. If you have a high stall, you should also have a good trans cooler and a trans temp gauge. Will save you a lot of tranny rebuild work.

It gets extremely hot here in Vegas in the summertime.

Looks like something our LS1 engines would love us for using, especially if we get into a hot lapping situation at the track when the ambient temp is 118* in the shade and track temps are 160 to 175 F.
