Default What am I doing wrong??

I cannot get my car to hook
I have pulled a 1.606 60 and it still blows the tires off launching at 3000rpm
I have Bmr LCA PHB, TA,
I am using new 26-11.50 et streets and have tried everything from 12-16psi
Pinion angle is -2, rear control arm is 4(bottom hole) I have tried the middle hole too.
The only thing i don't have is adjustable front shocks. I have revalved Bilstiens up front so it doesn't transfer much weight. I have ordered strange front shocks but is there anything else I should try/overlooking.

Have you checked to see how stiff your rear suspension is? I checked mine in the middle of the season cause I wasn't hooking. I pushed down on the trunk and the car didn't move. So I loosened the control arms and panhard ( I had poly stuff) and the car started to move up and down. I run all that stuff just slightly loose then I tighten it up on the street. If you have adjustable shocks ( I have hals) set the rears on full loose while you try bouncing the car. Once you get the suspension to move, then adjust your shocks up to 4,5 or6. I use 4 when the track doesn't hook well and 6 when it does hook well.
I won the event once I got this all figured out. The car dead hooked to 1.6x's and pulled the tires every pass. Most people were shocked at how it started to work so well.
This winter I will do Heim ended LCA's and Panhard.
Springs and shocks need to be able to do there job. With real tight suspension pieces they cannot.

Good luck
