If you ran 13.1 on bald street tires.....with the Drag radials, you should be around 12.7-12.9...

Heat them up good.....Go to the line....hold the break with your left foot...as hard as you can...mash the gas just enough to get your rpms to around 12-1500....called "foot braking" ......just to the point of spinning your tires.

shazam. 12s.

Heat your nitto's up real good. Foot brake the car to 900 rpm, and roll into it the rest of the way, this will help "flash" the stock converter a little, will hit the tires a little harder, and get you a little better 60' time.

Pull the passenger and rear seats. Also remove the front sway bar, it will remove some weight from the front, and help for better weight transfer and a better 60'.

I only had the front sway bar on my WS6 for about a month. It's wouldn't handle quite as well without it, but all i really cared about was the straight line. taking the sway bar off only takes 15 minutes, well worth the time.

It's really not about a weight savings. It helps the front rise and transferring weight to the rear on launch. I drive my car every day without it and as long as you don't charge into corners at 60mph, you won't have a problem. I don't even remember how the car felt before I took it off now. I guess I'm used to it now.

I didn't have any trouble codes when I took my maf screen out.

did it seem worth taking the screen off once it was off?, i had a hard time trying to get it off and as i was, we pulled up an article on the maf screen removal , and how many ppl have screwed up their sensors doing it so i pussed out , but its still an option , i just dont know how to get i toff, someone said it was supposed to wiggle off , but we were sitting there with a phillips head hitting it with a hammer (on the outter rim)

I took the maf off and a friend of mine grabbed it, took a screwdriver and it popped right out. He did make sure to be careful not to hit any of the sensor wires though. It didn't take 5 seconds to get it out. Well, as far as noticing anything, I put my lid on at the same time so I noticed a difference. Once you get it out you'll see that removing it will help. It's about a half inch thick and looks like honeycomb.

Wow your times are almost exactly what I run. Here's my best run from last friday.

r/t - .236
60' - 1.995
330 - 5.570
1/8 - 8.479
mph - 85.11
1000 -10.980
1/4 - 13.106
mph - 106.78

okay last night of long sleepless car working on stuff... very tired, got the new tires on , learned my first lesson on turing sharp at 60mph , thats dont ever do it again , i almost had a no second car there for a minute (i slipped for a min but i have been listening to you guys) , okay so i guess we are taking off the front sway bar, anything else ? still not certain on the MAF screen , but still considering any options at this point, do you think the extra weight from the tires needs to be compensated else where? i am so ready to do this, i have lost my excitment for it , i just want to do it (make 12) and go to sleep friday night and end the season on that, its also gonna be like 10*s hotter friday , will that really push me that much futher form the mark?
