Default where am i losing power?

i hit 1.8 and 1.9 in the 60ft, and alot of ppl hit 12s with 60 fts being in the 2s, i am referring mainly to alot of a4s in the database, most of which arnt spraying, and some drive the same year a4 with the same gears and less modifications , i dont think many are power tunned either, and we thought we had my tuning down , this sint really a tunning question but any suggestions on that are helpful also, but if im getting the right 60' and still crossing the line at 13.1 then where am i losing my power or traction?

Not sure it's a matter of loseing power. If you're going 1.8-1.9 60', you're definately hooking w/those street tires and making decent power.

Just some thoughts.....

Gotta consider weight.
What's your race weight? What are the other cars w/similar mods/power weighing in at?

Where is the car making peak power?

Where are the shift points?
Is the car shifting at or above peak peak power? Gotta hit the shift points just right to keep the motor spinning high in the power band.

MPH seems pretty damn good for the mods/ power you're making.
ET is an indication of how well the car(and driver)are working(together).

How are you staging the car?
Shallow or deep?

A shallow stage will help mph, as you're getting a rolling "head start".

A deep stage will help ET, as you are "closer" to the finish line.

Tire pressure.... front tires aired up to decrease rolling resistance and roll out?

Staying in the "groove" for the entire pass(all the way down the track)?

Easiest(cheapest)way to chop ET is weight reduction. Try pulling the simple stuff for the track. Usually good for ~100lbs. which will net you a ~tenth in ET.
Lose the passenger/rear seats, passenger/rear seat belts & retractors, floor mats, and run on an 1/8th tank of gas and add fuel as needed.

Good luck!
