Default Help me out with my math!
Car weighed in at 3320lbs on 11/12/05 with ½ tank of gas before strut bar and brackets removal which was 14lbs. So that is 3306lbs minus whatever the gas is. It was exactly on 1/2 a tank, I just dont know how many gallons that is or how much gas weighs per gallon.

6.5lbs per gallon usually.

The tank should be 16.5 gallons total.

If your gauge showed 1/2 tank you probably had between 7-8 gallons left.

So say 6.5 x 7 = 45.5 + 14lb sway bar = 59.50. 3320 - 3260.5lbs total. Sound about right?

Yah i know, and subtract the 45.5lbs of gas gets the car at 3260.5lbs. I have to take that gas off, with gas doesnt show the actual weight of the car.
