Default question about trap speed

ok well i feel my car should be trapping a lot higher but im wondering what kind of things can kill trap speed. my 60' times were 2.222, in the log i didnt go WOT until 4500 rpm, before that i was 50%, and short shifted at 5800 to 2nd and it took 0.3 sec longer than my 2-3 shift.

im just curious how much that could have hurt my mph. i ran 8.45@91.4 mph in the 1/8. yeah i know it sucks for heads and cam but its stock rear, stock gears, street tires. i actually didnt have much wheel spin which suprised me. all i know is most guys trap ~94 mph with similar setups, but they have gears and tires. just wondering if i need to adjust my driving more, which i do anyway, or if having 3.42's still is hurting it the most. just lookin for some opinions on this stuff so i can get some ideas on what helps and hurts. thanks guys
