my optima yellow top weighed in at 45lbs the battery GM Muscle has is 13lbs like he said so 32 lb difference and if he says no problems its got my vote. Im buying one after christmas (waiting to see what I get

With this battery you will not want to run the bottle heater without the car running (might be ok for a few minutes). However, my car has both underdrive pullies and it can easily sit idling in the lanes with the lights on and the bottle heater on and then restart no problem if I have to shut the car off for some reason.
why not a 12 volt lawn mower battery? there have been a few people around here running them. 20-25 bux and weighs less then 10 pounds. it fired the cars right up as long as you didn't play your system or leave your lights on.

I can go back to a factory style battery in about 10 minutes. With these adaptor arms I kept the same connecting bolts to battery.

HMMM thats got me thinking..... -32#'s there for me over my Yellow Top Optima. cant beat that for around a $100. Ill have to pic one up.....
Does it work any harder to start cars with the battery in the hatch like mine is???

Just install it up front, it weighs 13 lbs. Also it saves all the associated wiring and hassle with a relocated battery.

It probably wont be able to start the car in a rear mount unless you're running some stupid large batt cable. I wanted to do the same thing as well but all i came up with in the search function is that little batteries and remote mounting do not work well together.

Kinda hard to put a Battery back up front when this is in the way...
I do have 1/0 gauge wire ran from the front to the back...... so i cant get much bigger there
I guess ill use the Optima i have until i just buy it and find out.Kyle
