Help with big gear/stall shiftpoints.
1-2 44mph
2-3 84mph
3-4 136mph
Now that's not taking into concideration the slippage of my converter or the tire growth at the end of the track. We figured the slippage of my 4800 to be about 20% more than a stock converter and set the shifts accordingly with HPTuners.
1-2 35mph
2-3 67mph
3-4 108mph
The 1-2 shift is delayed and the 2-3 bounces off the rev limiter in colder weather. It must not slip that much because I have had it up to 130 or more on the dyno before hitting the rev limiter in 3rd. I also have rpm left in it crossing the traps in 1/4 mile at 122-123+mph.
If the mph shiftpoints are set to -20% and rpm @ 7000 then wouldn't it be hitting the rev limiter at 108mph?
Could someone please give me some insite as to what is going on or help me with the shiftpoints
