Default 3rd gen manual steering

i want to ditch the power steering and am wondering anyone knows of a manual box that would bolt up easy. something budget and not needing to be fabbed a lot.

Early to mid 80's S10 with manual steering will bolt right up. I think you can even use your stock pitman arm. I assume you are talking about a 3rd gen F-body.

A 3rd gen manual gear box will not even come close to simply bolting on to a 4th gen. Totally different front sub-frames. Plus the 3rd gen have recirculating ball steering and the 4th gens have rank-and-pinion steering ... not going to work without some serious fab.

I thought he was asking about manual steering for a 3rd gen. I know 4th gen. are rack and pinion. The title of the thread is 3rd gen manual steering.
