Yea im trying to make into a race car one step at a time. I figured out how to mount the spindles. They sent caster camber plates in a seperate shipment and I recieved them today. I also just would like to mention how nice of a set-up this AJE stuff is and that I would highly recommend it to anybody looking to lighten up the front of there car. The stuff is supped light and very high quality. Well thanks for looking at my post and trying to help

do any of you guys have any pics of this stuff installed?

http://www.ajeracing.com/camaro.htm

im thinking of going with this entire setup. it looks VERY good compared to some of the more standard stuff i've seen. looks more race inspired than the street type stuff thats out there right now.

Outlaw what is the measurment of your steering rack? Did you get a spacer on the passenger side to lengthen the arm? Mine is too short. If so how do you put the spacer in? I believe its like 4" or so correct?

I got everything I needed to install the complete front-end from AJE and it did come with the spacer from flaming river to move the passenger side arm out about 4 inches. Was pretty simple to install it with a big adjustable wrench to remove the passenger side arm (it unscrews then the extension screws into the body and the arm you removed screws into the outside of the extension.

Dave,

thanks for the offer, i would love to see a little more detail of the spindles themselves, and perhaps an underbody shot or under the motor shot. no rush, im just a little ancy about going this route on something i havent heard much about or seen run. from what i can tell off of their site, it looks like a very nice kit, and a lot lighter than the a-arm setup. i'd really like to see it proven, and then id get one for my drag car.

So these kits cannot be used for mild street cruises?

How stable is the actual strut?

This kit should be good for nearly 50lbs WITHOUT spindles. Even more with single piston brakes, which I wouldn't run.
