Also this our midplate setup with the front strut bars installed. The midplate bar is also considered our dash bar that is required for the 25.5.
MADMAN, Those are some pretty creative bends you have there, very well thought out...
Nice midplate setup btw. Thanks for sharing the pics. Verry impressive!

Brian can that dash bar be in that location for a 10 point as well? As this would make fittin some stuff a lot easier plus with the midplate it would create kinda a mounting point too.

Brian Mark's car looks bad ***! Took a second then I read about the front struts.. Then saw the dry sump.. Only one car in town that has that ... LOL!!

I'm going to be calling you in a week or two once i get situated in school. Need some little stuff done, and going to put a manual rack in. Going to drive the car around San Marcos every so often..

Wow. Is that one a daily driver Nice work madman. There are some 140 MPH+ street cars running at one of the tracks around here. They run on drag radials or et streets, with no DS loop, no cage, they dont get kicked out.

NICE work Brian!! Looks great & very tight too.
Geting head, helmet & hands in there to get all the way around w/ those welds is no easy task! Looks like you got all the way around in some very snug places. I didn't see too much in the way of gussets. I bet you are ready for a after that job!!!

The bar outside is the same as one inside. Mine is there to hold the motor plate.

25.5 is the new 7.50 sticker for a stock floor car. 25.2 is the 6.00 sticker for backhalf cars.

Default 25.5

Hey Brian.. Im getting ready to do a 25.5 up grade. I was wondering how you run bar#1 of the SFI guideline. Were you able to run that bar in 3 sections?

Hey Madman since you seem to know a ton about the NHRA specs does this cage look somehow not legal to you. I don't want this one certed down to 7.50... what is the level UP from that.... I'm planning on going no faster than 8.50 with my current engine combo. After that I'd just change this cage to be legit.... Someone mentioned something about the bends AROUND the dash instead of thru might not be legal but this cage is from Chris Alstons' chassisworks and Chris Alston Jr is a friend of mine... i can't see alstons selling something that wouldn't be legal. here's the pic....

and the other side...
