Launching a 4200 stall

Mine runs quickest holding it at 2000, then flashing it. Higher slows it down, lower and it runs no quicker, but is more violent. Most of the guys I help leave from about 2000.
Good luck, Ed
I have to agree with Ed. In my other car, I had a 5200 stall without a transbrake. I also held it at about 2000 rpm's and would then launch the car by flashing it. The car just ran quicker that way (1.44 60'). From time to time, it was fun to stall it up and let it go, but it wanted to steer to the right side and on several occasions, it tried to put paint on the guardrails.
