How the hell you guys de-wire your cars with the engine in the way..

I'm removing all the AIR/ABS/EGR/AC/Wiper Fluid/etc... harnesses and what a PITA.. especially where there are Ys with more and more cables!

this is crazy and painfull on the skin...

heh, I did mine with the motor out and it was easy, looked like a bowl of speghetti under the hood for a while but looks a lot cleaner now with all that stuff gone. I took out the A4 wiring and the HVAC/stereo/air bag stuff under the dash too - PITA but a lot less wires when its all over

would it be easier to go with a painless wiring pro-street harness? And just strip all the wires out of the car?
