Default Is this a good time?

I went down to SDR last Sat. and ran the car 3 times and the best I got was a 13.4 with a 2.2 60ft. Now I think part of my problem is mismatched tires on the rear I got a Toyo on drivers side and a Pirelle on the passengers side. Also I got a leaky front seal in the rear-end no drill mod and a slipping stock clutch. Mods are in sig. First run I got a 14.34 because I couldn't get it in gear down the track cause I did a burnout the first run. The next 2 runs I just drove around the water box staged and let her rip. Eased into her till I got her moving then floored it. Now this is the kicker at the track I would start fish tailing all over the place if I tried to speed shift even at like 60mph going into 3rd. This sounds like shitty track conditions to me. I know I need to do the drill mod bad because if I try to speed shift it while floored I can get in from 1-2 but not into 3rd and if I catch 3rd you can forget 4th. All this with a stock internal motor with 160k on the clock. And that was the first time I have ever been to the track with a 6-speed. I think I did rather well for myself givin the conditions. I know she still has alot more in it because every run got better and better. But hey I beat a dodge charger and a turbo civic so im good.

Nobody has any input on this. Wow and I figured I would get a good response here.

With practice, good times will come. Should be in the 12s. What was the trap?

Trap is good. 2 out of 3 passes I was 109-111 trap speed. I figured that should be good for mid to high 12's. Next time I go I will get me some street slicks and launch easily for fear of the rear end that should get me a nice time.

Your car will go mid 12's with that trap. Get a tire and practice shifting.
