Drag Strip Rules...

What is need to race at the local drag strip? I plan on taking m GTO to the track when it opens. Im running N/A and I believe the car will run somewhere in the 12's.

A helmet is all you should need. If you have to buy one don't be cheap. It protects you head.

At Indianapolis Raceway Park, if you run 13.99 or quicker you must wear a helmet. Other than that, just make sure your car is in good mechanical order and you'll be fine (no missing lug nuts, loose battery bracket, etc).

I think a helmet and if they check a driveshaft loop for 12.99 and quicker

driveshaft loop is only required at 13.99 or quicker when running slicks. Street tires don't require a loop until 11.49.
