Im buying some skinnies and thought about running a short belt at the track..Where do ya buy one?

Use a string to figure out how much belt you need and then head out to the parts store. Should be in the 52" range if I remember right.

how do u route the short belt?? what gets skipped? the p/s? Dou take the a/c belt off also?

typically gains are in the 10rwhp area, and it's just a shorter belt so the motor isn't having to spin around that extra pulley etc etc.

interesting- i have alot of people tell me it is good for .1 but i HIGHLY doubt that. i just picked one up and if i get .05 from it i'll be happy- but if it doesn't do a thing im returing it.

For those of you who have done it, did you loop the lines of the power steering pump, or just leave them?

just leave the lines. I had to take one bolt outta the alt to run it too. Helped my car a little.

I am looking to by-pass my Power steering pump (which recently blew).

I picked up a 6 rib 51 inch belt ... correct size?

It was for Nissan 2.4L. That bothers me.
