Narrowing a Rear
Narrowing a Rear I have a stock length Moser 12 Bolt... I want to narrow it 2" on each side... Would you guys walk me through the steps I need to take to get it done...
-I know I will need new axles right? Just order them from Moser?
-Then can I just take the housing to a reputable welder/fabricator and have him take 2" off of each side?

You'll need to take the housing to someone who has the right tool for narrowing a rear. It's a special bar/jig used to make sure the ends get welded on perfectly straight.
You should be able to send the axles back to Moser and have them shortened and re-splined.
