Is removing rear sway that bad?
Is removing the rear sway completly, a bad thing? I have driven it a little w/out it, and there is definitly a lot of body roll, but am I better off (for 1/4 mile) with it in or out?
Thanks, and I'm sorry if this is a no-brainer, I'm learning.
Without the rear swaybar the car will do some impressive wheelies where one side is so high in front that your rear bumper scrapes. On the way down though my car would start spinning.
Point in fact, a beefier rear swaybar is useful because the car will leave more evenly. I run the Spohn rear drag bar and love it. Not as stiff as the ones that weld on all four corners, and the car is still enjoyable to drive around.
