work to fit welds
besides grinding calipers, what other work has to be done to fit a 15x10 7.5bs weld prostar with 26x10 mt et drags? its the same height as stock, will it fit with minimal or no hammering or and im bringing out a sledge? just curious.

You shouldn't have to hammer anything. If your car is stock heigth you may have to shave down the bump stop.

Pretty much, the sidewall bulge is what usually hits the bump stop. I don't have any cross section and tread width numbers in front of me though. Basicly after you grind your calipers, load the rear, then check and see if the tire hits the bumpstop. If it does, just take your grinder to the bump stop.

After I put the 15x10s on with 275/50/15 M/T DR's I put jackstands under the frame and let the rearend drop until the bulge of the M/T touched the bumpstop. It looked to me that I'd have to do some dukes of hazard type jumps in order for them to touch. It was almost at full extension of the suspension before they touched so I didn't bother with the bumpstops. Should I re-think that decision?
