Good shock/spring combo for launching?

looking for a good shock/spring combination for launching......

i currently have stock shocks with h&r sport springs cause i had planned on doing single adjustables for autocross and road racing but i have changed the direction i want to go to with the car...

i am on a somewhat tight budget since i am a college student and dont have money growing out of my ***, lol.....so nothing ridiculously expensive.

thanks for any help, hints, suggestions, advice.

Shocks

KYB makes a nice shock and not to exspensive, I had them then changed to Qa1 I didn't notice much differance, Price from $89. to $120. They are a 5 way adustable.

do you know anything about the competition engineering drag launch shocks?

would a set of kyb's work well with my h&r springs or would i need to invest in a different set of springs

Find a set of used QA1 R series fronts with springs, then use the comp eng. rears and that will save ya some money and yet you will have a real nice setup.
