Default NHRA approved roll-cage for a vert?

I understand that the NHRA requires a convertible to have a roll-cage when running under a certain time. Does anyone know what time that is? Also, who makes a good pre-fabbed cage that'll fit my '01 vert?
Further, can I use a 5-point harness w/o attaching it to a cage? Will a 5-point fit onto an appropriate racing seat itself?

Convertables 12.00 to 13.99 must have a roll bar.
Look at Wolfe racing website, excellent products.

Let's break this down a little:

A ROLL BAR (5-point minimum, including one driver door bar that can be a swingout) is required from 11.00 to 13.49 for convertibles according to the NHRA rulebook.

A ROLL CAGE (8-point minimum, including one driver door bar and one passenger door bar, both can be swingouts) is required at 10.99 or 135 mph or faster for convertibles.

The 5-point harness has the shoulder belts (2), and they MUST attach to the roll bar or cage crossbar.

Wolfe seems to be the popular choice for pre-done set-ups, but you could also have one custom done. Check out the sponsers and see what they offer.

I was trying to verify the rules for 10.99 and under and saw this---

Roll Cages required on all cars running 10.99 or faster than 135mph. - One exception: full bodied cars running between 10.00 and 10.99, with unaltered firewalls, floor and body (from firewall rearward - wheel tubs permitted) can compete with just a roll bar.

Is this true? I was considering a roll bar but will be in the 10.00-10.99 range. I guess I could buy a rule book but this site is a little cheaper.

This is true for hardtops only, not convertibles.
