Default Alston torque arm need brackets modded?

Am I the only one who had to mod the torque arm bracket so the holes will match up? I had to grind a good 1/4 inch off the torque arm bracket on the 9 inch to get it to fit.

Do they have 2 styles or is this common? It was kind of a good thing though, as it puched the torque arm in closer to the center, keeping it off the tunnel a little bit more.

i know with the moser 12 bolt you have to grind the TQ arm bracket down to get it to fit using the 2nd set of holes on a BMR TQ arm. not sure how the 9" is, but i'd assume you'd have to mod it just the same.

its more often than not the rear ends fault...Your going to have to modify most everything thats a "bolt on" nothing will fall into place..

The 9" is the culprit, the Alston stuff was designed with a 12 bolt.

Sounds good. Actually prefer it this way as long the 9 inch bracket doesn't crack.

That will keep everything in closer to the center and not on the tunnel like the Spohn and BMR. This torque arm seems to have better quality then the spohn and 20 times better then that junk BMR trak pak torque arm
