Default Oil Temp Sender Question?

I know the vettes have an oil temp sender and am about 90% sure the fbods do too. My question is can I wire my autometer oil temp electrical gauge into the stock sender or do I need to find a place for the sender which came with the gauge? If I could wire it into the stock sender that would be great and I wouldn't have to double t one side from the valve spring oiler lines. Thanks.

here is all you need, easy as hell to do. Simply remove the block above the filter(2 bolts) then drill the hole all the way through and tap it. Install sender with teflon tape, and run 1 wire..

Thanks, but have to use that for the valve spring oilers feed and was hoping to avoid having to run the t for each side of the motor and t again off one of the sides for the sender. Looks like that maybe my only choice.

Thanks for that link though, pretty helpful!
