Fast STOCK INTERNAL Guys INside please....

what fuel are you running?

ive been running 93 but i was thinking of goin to 104 and maxing out the timeing for the stock cam? what do you think?

im down to my last 2 weeks of running SI?

any input on the tuning side?

i know i need TA,Kmember,Aarms,light weight battery, but thats not gonna happen in the next weeks

i will however be removing the rear bumper support

I don't think the 104 will help you. I never ran anything more than 93 SI and with the cam.

93 here also.
SI isn't about making power, its about being light and having a good set up (tranny/gear/suspension).

OK, I'm not a fast SI guy but maybe I can relay my experience at the dyno and it'll help. When Jeff Creech dyno tuned my car we started out with 93 octane. He optimized the tune for that and then we tried 5 gallons of 110 octane race fuel mixed in with about a couple of gallons of the 93 which was left in the tank. He fiddled with the timing and the A/F ratio for 4-5 more pulls and never exceeded the numbers that he got on straight 93. 328.9 to the tires through a PT4000, 3.90 geared 12 bolt and using wrinkle wall tires on stock salad shooters all of which cost me horsepower on the dyno. He told me that the stock engine just did not need more octane and the slower burning race fuel just wasn't going to help at that point. That being said, I've noticed a performance increase at the track on a really hot day by adding a gallon or so of race fuel to a 1/4 tank of gas. On a 90+ degree day with the track temp around 130 or so, 93 will start to detonate and the 110 will help keep the detonation at bay thereby increasing performance. Hope this helps.
