Narrowed rears and parking brakes

How much can you narrow a rear and still keep the parking break. Ive seen it narrowed up to 2.5" on each side, but is it possiable to go 3?

From what i've seen down under the car, you can tuck them WAY in, you just have to relocate your e-brake brackets (something Moser did not do for me)
