Default Pulled everything!

As my car will be down for the next couple of months (waiting on drivetrain parts) i decided to take on !HVAC and !Wiring...

good pulling the dash was so easy, reading all those threads of "my dash won't come out" i was afraid of breaking something, but it went really smooth...

I just found a problem with a damn HVAC box being bolted from the inside to the dash... WTF!, had to break that piece...

Let the wire clipping fun begin

Is there anyway to remove the ABS wiring without having to drop the engine?

its fun stuff... my car lost pretty much 75 percent of its wiring since its gonna have a non fuel injected engine....

lmao.. I'm keeping a few of the fused power wires out of the fuse box and only what i need for my windows/wipers/and lights/directionals to work....once i get the windshield taken out, i'll put part of the dash back in and start fabbing up my cage..

have fun digging through those wires, I know I didnt..lol..

jay

ps, your engine compartment is dirty..lol..

EDIT: Stupid ground left out

That top pic scares me as to what I"m gonna have to do LOL, tha looks like a huge project. Hell, it looks like just removing the entire sound system isn't gonna be a small task.

Anyone knows what are this for?

This one was on the black firewall thing, along with set of cables that go from door to door...

And this one was with the HVAC control stuff, but the blue wire is the e-brake light switch...

Any idea? can I remove them?

That first one is the express-down relay for the driver's side power window.

No idea on that second one.

Most of the wiring is right there by the ABS unit. I ended up pulling that big bundle of wires that's behind the fuel lines, opening it up, and teasing out all the ABS related wires. Several of them go to the fuse blocks too.

You'll get a light on the dash. There's a little control box under the dash, that sets the light if the fluid is low, the ABS is gone, or a brake light is out. I did away with all of that too.

Thanks John!

I think I will leave the express-down, will not mess with the electric windows, I still want those...

Anyone got any idea on what's the second one?

Im not hte biggest fan of wiring jobs nor do i have the patience to do it. so i went through and used electrical tape and wrapped all of the excess wireing up and zip tied up all that i could so its much cleaner looking. once my cage goes in im gonna zip tie all of the wires to the cross bar behind the dash.

I am messing with the wires too.
I don't think I had the blue connector with the loop, than again its been over 6 months that I pulled the a/c heater.
I am removeing the daylight running lights, and all the headlight, turnsignal ect now.
I found a relay near the DRL control box with brown wire from the lights, black/white stripe going to BCM and two orange.
Any idea what this relay is for?

That blue connector has something to do with Keyless entry and OEM alarm, most of the wires that come out of it go to alarm stuff...

Do you have a pic of the relay? I don't much about them, but I sure can know if I removed it
