Default Lightweight battery?

Is there a lightweight battery that will withstand the abuse of street/strip?
And what kind of weight savings is there?

The PC650 is right at 25 lbs lighter.
I, however, swap it for the track...I was having some problems with it daily driving it. The power would sorta fluctuate if I was at a stoplight with my lights on and the radio on.

Only takes a second to swap it out though, so its no big deal.

I'm using a PC680 or something likr that, almost two years old and its still going. I wouldnt daily drive with one though, if you let the car sit a week it will get pretty low but they work surprisingly well for their size..

You guys are talking out your necks....Gees. I have been DD my PC680, with AC on, in the dark with lights on, stock stereo bumpity bumpin and nitrous bottle heater and no issues. Will it need a jump after a week? Not if your electrical system is good to go, if your losing juice somewhere you'll find out. It doesnt take a major draw to kill it, but once cables are jumped it fires right back to life. And I do short stop, shut off, start ups etc..no issues.

I think the problem I was having with mine is that my connection was not real solid.

So I'm absolutely sure it could be daily driven on (and I know plenty that are)...but I like the security of having a full-size battery for daily driving

For connection, if you slide the factory cable protectors off and the factory bolt, you can screw the allen head screw right throught the facotry cable metal ends with supplied washers. I used a 1.25" wide piece of 1/8" thick aluminum bar to make a hold down.... I need to buy the adapter set so I can use the stock bolts instead of the screws.

You CAN daily drive one, just like you CAN daily drive on race brakes and you CAN daily drive on skinneys but the little battery is not as good as a full size for daily driving - thats my point.

Those little batteries have little to no reserve, If something happens where the car doesnt start right away and you have to keep cranking it to figure out why it wont start you are screwed, or if you leave something on for 20 minutes. I have had them in several cars and after sitting a week they crank slow, two weeks it barely cranks.. I have been stuck in the staging lanes and had to start and shut off the car 5 times moving it up and I was sweating if the car would start the last time it was cranking so slow. As long as you are aware of their limitations yhey work, just dont expect it to work like a full size battery..

Where do you pick up this adapter set?
