Help me pick a gear ratio please!!
Help me pick a gear ratio please!! Ok guys I have a 99 Camaro SS M6, I have full bolt on's, LS6 intake, QA1's all around, Adj. T/A, LCA, PHB, TSP Magic Stick Camshaft, TNT Twister Force 2 kit jetted for a 150 shot, My rev limiter is set at 7,000rpm. Right now I had 4.10s in my 10bolt and sprayed her 1 time hooked and broke 
so now I am getting a Strange 12 bolt with 33 spline axles and a spool I just need to figure out my Gear Ratio that would be almost perfect. I have 28" tall tires in the rear at this time so I was thinking of going to a 4.30 gear but I don't know if I would tag the rev limiter before I went through the traps? If it matters I am at a 3200 raceweightand will only be going lighter in the future!!

Go with the 4.30's I have run mine a little on the street with a spool and 4.30's and was very surprised at how it didn't feel too steep. I could throw it in 6th and still cruise.
