pics of !AC? I've searched through the past 2 years of !AC posts and didn't find what I was looking for.
Does anyone have pics of !AC with the motor in the car? I'm thinking about doing this and want to see everything that can be removed. I will keep the heat but lose the cool. I don't plan on pulling the dash. I understand everything unbolts, but which pieces are removed?

Compressor, bracket from Comp. to block, assoc. bolts for both. Belt. Condensor,dryer and hoses connecting both to comp. Open heater box and remove the evaporator. Tuck wire for compressor along side of the injector harness to keep it out of site. Sorry no pics, but thats the components.

Is it necessary to open the heater box? Am I able to do it from the engine bay with the motor still in. Thanks for the response and sorry for a newb-type question. How did you dispose of the "freon"?
