Slowing down on the big end
Ran the car last night for the 1st time since the 90/90 setup went on. I was spinning through the 60' most of the night, but I got a couple decent runs in. At the end of the night I ran 3 runs back to back with no cool down. The DA was around 2950' for all of the runs (Thanks Texas).
1st run:
1.93 (spun)
7.66@92.80
11.80@118.48
2nd run
1.83 (spun)
7.62@92.73
11.76@118.33
3rd run
1.58 (hooked)
7.27@94.62
11.42@118.42
So as you can see, I trapped almost 2mph higher in the 1/8th on my last run, but ended up at the same 1/4 mile trap as my other runs. And I actually hooked on my last run, so this confuses me even more. What would cause me to basically lose 1-2mph on the big end on this run? Nothing changed as far as weather or anything else between these runs. The car is shifting into 4th as I cross the traps w/ my 3.73s, 26" drag radials, and 4600 stall, but this happened on every run. Any ideas?

You did not slow down. You should not expect the mph to increase on the big end when you got traction and ran what you should have in the 1/8th. In order for your mph in the 1/4 to increase you would have to increase your HP.

Your car should not be shifting into 4th gear with 3.73s/26" tall tires unless you either racing in OD or your shift points are too low. That right there could exsplain some loss in the 1/4 trap speed if it's shifting right before (50 feet or so) the 1/4.
